Mr. Sapanski possesses over 50 years of banking, commercial lending and commercial real estate experience.  Mr. Sapanski began his banking career at The Dime Savings Bank of New York where he served in the positions of Chief Information Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and finally President and Chief Operations Officer, before leaving in 1987.  In 1988, Mr. Sapanski joined Florida Federal Bank as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Sapanski joined Florida Federal after the Bank became a troubled institution and was retained by the RTC to assist in the sale of the Bank.  In 1993, Mr. Sapanski was part of an investor group that purchased Republic Bank in Florida and became their Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.  While leading Republic, Mr. Sapanski grew the Bank from 4 branches to 85 branches before retiring in 1999.  In 2000, Mr. Sapanski joined the Board of Clarity Bank.com and subsequently became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and facilitated the Bank’s sale in 2004.  Mr. Sapanski holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and MBA in Accounting and Finance from Baruch School, City College of New York and graduated with honors from the Banking Program at Brown University and the Management Program at The University of Massachusetts.
