Hanover Bank Financial Education for First Time Home Buyers

Hanover knows that financial education is a key step in the process of making homeownership a reality. One of the ways that the Bank continues to support financial education in the communities it serves is by facilitating First Time Home Buyers Workshops. Most recently the Bank collaborated with the Neighborhood Housing Services of Jamaica in Queens, NY. True to the Bank's community orientation, Hanover's Community Development Loan Officer works in partnership with community-based organizations, across the communities Hanover Bank serves, to offer First Time Homebuyer Workshops. The workshops help educate their constituencies regarding how to prepare for and take the important step of homeownership, oftentimes the cornerstone for achieving generational wealth.
